About us

The Strata Professionals Group is a national network of independently owned strata management offices, built on a single premise: that committees deserve the same standard of professional service they receive from their lawyers, accountants, and financial planners.

Each office is owned and run by an experienced local strata manager — someone accountable to the committees they serve, not to a distant corporate owner. What ties the network together is a shared standard: one method, one transparent pricing model, one set of professional commitments, supported by the systems, training, and specialist expertise of the our founder and franchisor.

The group was founded as a deliberate response to an industry defined by poor communication, reactive management, and conflicts of interest. Everything about the way we operate — our method, our staffing, our pricing, and our name — exists to close that gap.

Local ownership. National standards.

The Strata Professionals Group operates under a franchise model. Each office is independently owned by an experienced local strata manager who has signed onto the standards, carries the brand, and runs the schemes in their area. That local owner is your point of accountability.

Behind every office sits the franchisor: the method, the operating systems, the task tracker, the training, the compliance frameworks, and a team of specialists in governance, compliance, maintenance, and finance who can be called in to assist the local manager when a scheme needs them.

The result is the best of both worlds. The relationship and responsiveness of a local owner-operator who knows your building, backed by the depth and consistency of a national network.

Our promise

Every office in the network works to the same three commitments.

1.  No lock-in contracts
No exit penalties. Just performance that earns your trust every single day.

2. No commissions or kickbacks
WWe don’t get paid by insurers or contractors. No related-party suppliers. We work only for you. Every recommendation we make serves your strata, not our margin.

3. A personalised, proactive program
NNo more waiting for things to go wrong first. Your structured annual program means predictable tasks are planned, scheduled, and done ahead of time.

Traditional strata management has three problems. We have solved them.

Committees across Australia report the same frustrations. The manager doesn’t communicate. Nothing gets done until something goes wrong. And there is no clarity on what is being paid — or why.

These are not isolated complaints. They are the defining characteristics of an industry that has been allowed to underperform for too long — and has been left to self-regulate with predictable results.

We built The Strata Professionals Group as a direct answer to that failure: a network of local offices, each owned by a professional who is personally accountable, all working to a documented method, a transparent pricing model, and a communication system that delivers certainty at every step.

No commissions. No related-party deals. No lock-in contracts. Clear fees, a structured annual program, and a management method that can be seen, measured, and held to account — at every office, in every scheme.

1. Poor Communication

‘We never hear from our manager until something goes wrong.’

Every task undertaken on a committee’s behalf is tracked through a task tracker. Chasing is eliminated. Accountability is built in.

2. Lack of Proactivity

‘Our management is completely reactive. There’s never a plan.’

All routine tasks are planned and completed on schedule. Unexpected issues are handled without the wheels coming off.

3. Hidden Fees and Conflicts

‘We suspect our manager makes money from our decisions...’

Every office in the network runs a strict no-commission, no-related-party, no-conflicts model. Committees find the difference immediate and measurable. Simple fees. Nothing hidden.

Head office and founder

Behind every office in the network is a head-office team responsible for the standard, the systems, and the specialist support each owner draws on.

Why Committees Choose The Strata Professionals Australia

Committees that move to The Strata Professionals typically share the same frustration

  • A manager who is hard to reach and slow to respond
  • Reactive, unplanned management with no annual structure
  • Advice that committees suspect is influenced by commissions or referral arrangements
  • Meetings that achieve little and agendas that arrive late
  • Contracts that make departure difficult even when performance is poor

Our response is threefold: a locally owned office that is personally accountable to your committee, the Balanced Strata Method™ that plans the year ahead, and a pricing model with nothing to hide — backed by the specialist depth of a national network and a task tracker that shows the work in real time.

Committees can also connect through the newsletter The Strata Professional. Our founder writes about strata law, committee governance, and why true professionalism matters in this industry. The Strata Professional is published each Saturday morning.
