Nick Paskin is the Business Development and Training Manager at The Strata Professionals Australia. He brings more than eight years’ hands-on strata industry experience spanning portfolio management, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder engagement to the firm’s growth, training, and advocacy efforts.
He spent seven years at a boutique Sydney firm where he operated as an autonomous strata manager responsible for a residential portfolio while providing senior-level support across strata plans, community schemes, building management committees, and company title buildings. He managed and contributed to more than 25 company title schemes, coordinated multiple company-to-strata-title conversions, and oversaw complex compliance projects including fire safety remediation, defect rectification, and litigation resolution. Before that, he held a strata management role at a large strata firm, where he gained foundational experience across schemes ranging from small residential plans to large mixed-use developments exceeding 200 lots.
That depth of operational experience means Nick understands the day-to-day pressures strata managers face. He has attended and facilitated hundreds of general meetings and committee meetings, prepared budgets and struck levies, reviewed financial statements, coordinated insurance renewals, and managed the kinds of capital works and compliance matters that define the role.
Nick has undertaken subjects in justice, policy and governance at Queensland University of Technology. He is currently completing a Diploma of Property (Agency Management) through the Australian College of Professionals, the pathway to a Class 1 NSW Licence. He holds a Certificate IV in Strata Community Management and a Class 2 NSW Strata Managing Agent’s Licence.
At The Strata Professionals Australia, Nick leads business development strategy, brand positioning, and client acquisition. He creates marketing content, presentations, and educational materials for industry audiences and supports the development of an RTO pathway for strata industry training and professional development. His combination of frontline management experience and commitment to industry education makes him well placed to help the firm deliver on its mission of raising professional and ethical standards across the strata sector.
