Our last presentation for 2025

Bush House Lecture Theatre, King’s College London - 16 December 2025

On 16 December, with Free Leaseholders, I will present an international perspective on the UK's stalled commonhold reform crisis by showcasing Australia's strata system as a democratic alternative to leasehold.

The presentation will candidly address both system strengths - including robust industry support, regular statutory reviews, and low dispute rates - and acknowledged weaknesses like insurance commissions.

With the UK market in crisis (43% of leaseholders reporting life-altering impacts) and developer opposition blocking reform, this talk aims to inject credible, practical insights into the reform debate.
